10/03/2005 Mutual Materials Building New Vancouver Branch to Expand Natural Stone Product Line

Mutual Materials has begun construction on a new 4,000 square foot custom-built branch at 9921 NE 72nd in north Vancouver. With over four acres of grounds, the new facility will include one of the area's largest natural stone yards. Ground broke in May and the company anticipates its grand opening to be mid-December.

07/14/2005 Mutual Materials Company to Open New Manufacturing Plant in Oregon

Mutual Materials, the Northwest's leading manufacturer of masonry and hardscape products for commercial and residential construction, recently announced that it is in the final planning phases of a new multi-million dollar paver plant in Gresham, Oregon. The site for the new facility, which is expected to be 47,000 square feet, with an additional 15,000 for future expansion, will be located on a ten-acre site in Gresham, near the Mutual Materials Columbia Brick Plant.

To support the growth of the hardscape industry in the Pacific Northwest, Mutual Materials will host a two-day conference that will bring together the region’s top hardscape contractors and building industry professionals. Slated for March 3-4, 2005 at Semiahmoo Resort in Blaine, Washington, the event will offer continuing education and certification sessions, as well as exhibits.
