Seattle, WA – October 6, 2023 – On Friday, October 6th Seattle Design Center celebrated their 50th anniversary by hosting a gala and the Northwest Design Awards. Creativity was on full display with surprise performances, cirque experiences, cocktails galore and premium food.
It was an extravagant evening in the atrium of the Seattle Design Center, where designers and industry leaders came together to celebrate the community that’s on the forefront of innovation in architecture and interior design. All guests were encouraged to dress as their best decade, from 1970s to present day.
The Seattle Design Center’s 50th Anniversary Gala was a night of elegance and innovation, celebrating half a century of design excellence. Amidst the backdrop of timeless aesthetics and cutting-edge creations, this event paid tribute to Seattle’s rich design heritage, uniting visionaries, artisans, and tastemakers in a remarkable evening of inspiration and nostalgia. –

The winners of the 2023 Northwest Design Awards were announced as well. Stacy Becker of White Label Interiors won the Rising Star Award, Christy Yaden of Christy Yaden Interior Design won the Influential Room Award, and Hyde Evans Design was the Influential Design Award recipient.
Habitat for Humanity Seattle, King and Kittitas Counties was designated as the philanthropic partner of the gala.
